Peer Recovery Ethics

Peer Support Ethics is a two-day, interactive discussion around the ethical domains and criteria that peer recovery support professionals should follow to maximize outcomes for the populations the peer service. All participants will learn more about how to maintain ethical standards around the digital media age, boundary management, self-disclosure, self-care and several other aspects related to recovery support. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to maintain appropriate peer recovery ethical standards in the services the peer provides. This course provides 16 CEU to the following professionals: Certified recovery support professionals (CAPRC, CARC, CHW/CRS CCHW etc.) Social Workers Addiction Counselors Marriage & Family Therapist Mental Health Counselors This course is required for the Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach I/II, Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) and Certified Supervisor Peer Recovery credentials through ICAADA
