The MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute’s Recovery Support Fundamentals: A Foundational Skills Based Approach is an immersive and interactive exploration of what it means to provide person-centered, ethical and professional recovery support in addictive, mental health and crisis related situations. Skills such as motivational interviewing, supporting multiple pathways of recovery/wellness, providing culturally responsive services and other skills will be explored and discussed. Join us to learn the fundamental skills to become an effective and supportive recovery support professional. It is a five-day, 35-hour interactive knowledge and skill development training. Participants will be expected to ATTEND ALL 5 DAYS of this training. Training is held daily from 9am-5:00pm EST.
This course provides 35 CEU’s for all who complete the course. CEU’s are provided pursuant to Indiana Administrative Code 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86)
This course meets the 35-hour education requirement for the ICAADA CAPRC I & II and the CARC credential.
A 2-day Recovery Support Ethics course is also required for the CAPRC I & II credential.
